Went down to the Sno about a mile downstream from the Hwy 9 bridge. Got there at low tide about 10:30am, wandered up & down the river throwing all colors of Blue Fox spinners and jigs tipped with shrimp. Saw one big ol spawned out Chinook swim by but that was the only sign of salmon I saw all day. I did get a couple follows on the spinners by trout and about 3:30 (high tide) they started rising along the banks. So I switch to smaller trout spinners and threw a few different colors until I found the yellow roostertail was the trick of the day. Between 3:30 and 5pm I caught and released 3 rainbows all around 14-15 inches. It was a beautiful day to be out and the eagles kept me company all day.
