Got out on the water at the crack of dawn. It was cold, my truck said it was 31 degrees. It was so cold the last 3 guides on my rod kept freezing over. It even snowed for a few minutes. The river was dead though. The water was a lot clearer than the upper river but still stained and moving very fast. I threw everything in my box and caught 1 old beat up chum on an orange spinner w/ an orange blade. Saw a few chums swim by. Then my toes were so cold I could barley walk, so I decided to switch fishing spots just to get in the truck and warm up. I found myself at 112th. Fished there for about an hour and gave up, not even a nibble. Decided to cut my losses and make it home for the hawks game
