I decided to take a trip up Mt.Loop Hwy.. Just cruising around, I decided to hit my favorite spot. I got there,and It had been 3 years since Ive been down there the whole spot had changed the river flowed In a complete different area. So I walked up the beach a little ways. and I found a nice deep hole, and It parts of the river which had broke off pouring into it. Wow this was a trout hotspot. My buddy Pat was using just a nightcrawler with no weight letting it run down the rapids and he was catching a bunch over 10 inches, His first fish was at least 15 inches, nice baby steelhead, He go 1 more just like that a bunch of 10 and 12 inchers. I was using a little tube jig, and I got a nice 14 incher beautiful rainbows (pics soon to come) . I was just casting it out letting it sink and twitching it in, Couldn't keep them off. I think I got 2 cutthroat, They looked like cutts but at the same time they had rainbow markings it was crazy. All in all we got about 20 or so all together. I know I caught 11 and my friend was battling them just as much as me.. Good Stuff.. All released Healthy and Alive.. Joe
