Since I have nothing exciting to report, I will lump a few trips into this 1 report. All of this was about 2 miles below 522.
Wednesday (9/3) evening from 6-8. Fish were rising, seals were cruising, but that was it, nothing hooked that I saw.
Friday Morning (9/5) 6-11am, no fish rising, seals cruising. About 6:30 the guy next to me brought in (& released) a nice 18-20# king drifting yarn&bead setup. Fish was pretty dark. It was the only thing I saw caught.
Went home for lunch and decided to go down again for the evening (addicted, who's addicted, not me!) Fished from 5:30-8, saw a lot more fish rising, again seals. Saw one boat pull up a nice silver, didn't see em catch it, think they must've just bled it, and I heard a guy upstream from me hook and lose a king. But that was it.
I DID however come home with something this time. Found a Batman rod/reel leaning against the bank. If you lost one, and can describe where you left it and the one unique feature about it, pm me and we'll get it back to you. Otherwise, I'm keepin it. If a Barbie poll can bring in a state record, just imagine what BATMAN can do!!!
