got to the carbon around 620am..started fishing about 1/2 a mile below the hatchery and made our way down river every 30 mins..got about 2 miles down stream where we stayed at for about 2 hours.. i fished a little hole for about 20 mins about my 10th cast i hooked on to a 20 pound king 2 guys where behind me watchin as they where about to head out but wen they saw me fished a little more...it was a good fight took about 5-10 mins to get it but i landed it on shore no net needed..i was so glad it was a hatchery fish because i haven't been fishin for about 2 weeks and from all the reports fishin been on the down side lately..anyways after punching the fish on mt catch card went back to the spot and hooked on to a nice silver around 10 pounds gave my a splash and a jump then hook came out...it was a good day and ended up to be a sunny day....tight lines and fish on..

Nice fish. Too bad you couldn't bring the silver home to. I thought about fishing the Carbon this morning but I didn't want to get up as early as you.

thanks fishinrob and toni...there was a couple of guys who hooked on the fish but was way to dark to keep and way to bad to eat ..one of the guys had a almost spawned out siver which he kept and right wen he netted it the sperm came out which was the sadest thing to see out there..my fish was not as bad nice hen and the sac was still in place....18 pounds good day...

Thanx - fished Nisqually yesterday w/green corky and yarn- nothing...battled the weather and mother nature won..My buddy caught a 5 pound silver ( he said was 10) and I seen another lost right at shore- but that one was easily 20.
