10/2/2008 9:41:00 PMhas anyone up higher on the river been catching anything? what about on the wallace. or the skykomish. me and my friend are trying to pick where to fish on sunday and where not sure if we should take his boat in the snohomish or go wade the sky or wallace.

10/3/2008 11:49:00 AMI am far from the expert river fisherman but I was told by my buddy who is a guide that when the salmon are jumping it is an indication that they are moving, usually in a group or school. If you didn't see anything jumping, it could be that they just weren't there when you were fishing. On my trip a few weeks ago when they were jumping we caught our fish. When they stopped jumping we had no bites or hook ups. Just a tidbit of info I thought I would mention. Thanks for your report.
