Fished the Sky near Ben Howard last night for about an hour after work, from about 430-too dark to tie up again. Saw a lot of fish rolling, pretty dark chums and silvers. Hit about 4-5 fish w/ my slinky but no hook ups. Wish I had more time, i knew i could have stuck at least one. Could feel my gear dragging across em. Fished chartreuse, red, purple. Might make it out once more this week, hopefully getting out of work early so i can have a little more time.

Are you kidding me? I feel like I'm going crazy! I fished the Sky just upstream from Monroe off of Ben Howard road on 10/31 and 11/3 both days in the morning. I didn't even see any fish, let alone tons of rolling Chum. No one fishing around me hooked anything either. Where on Ben Howard road were you at? Farther upstream? Or did all of the Chum show up after I left? All I want to do is catch a Chum!

All you want is to catch a chum....damn, your standards are pretty low...haha. We were just above Ben Howard fishing from the Monroe side right where the Old tressle used to be. I was up at the mouth of the Wallace on saturday and it was the same way, a lot of skanky fish up in the shallows. Find a deep hole and start working it. If you see a lot of fish rolling up top, throw on a dick nite or a no. 2/3 blue fox....bronze has done well for me on silvers.
