The temperature of the lake at the surface was 48° taken at 10:15 AM. It was cloudy and windy. Visibility has been between 3 and 4 feet.
The Kokanee fishing continues to be the best bet on the lake. Good numbers of fish have been found along the West shore near the Mayfield Dam and along the West shore under the Harmony Road Bridge. The key to success has been S L O W trolling, with J&K mini trollers dressed with juicy worm hunks. The fish are between 5 and 20 feet deep.
Tiger Musky fisherman are raising more fish than they are hooking. Large spinner baits and large crank baits are getting the fish to follow, but they don't seem interested in biting yet.
Colors like Red/White and Fire Tiger seem to be working best. Fish are moving from deep to mid-water depths and holding near structure like log piles and bridges.
