Went out to the Tolt to break in my new baitcaster. The road at the mouth of snoqualmie is completely washed out. There is so much timber scattered around you had better be good at climbing trees to get to the river now. The bank has a 15' high wall of broken trees on top of each other.

The river was green. Slight snow. Snoqualmie was brown and moving quick. Once again didn't see a fish, hear a fish. One other person on the bank when I got there said the same. I fished Snoqualmie where Tolt empties into it, and then moved up the tolt until I got underneath the bridge.

Ran jig and float this time with pink/ white, pink/ black jig combos of various weights and leader length. I did see a few boats come into the launch up river on the Snoqualmie. I thought there was an engine restriction this time of year?
