HIT THE SKOOKUMCHUCK TODAY FISHED FROM THE MORNING TILL 3PM .I FISHED HALF THE DAY WITH FELLOW MEMBER TONI .WE FISHED THE LOWER PART THEN WENT UP RIVER .WE FISHED JIGS AND SPINNERS GOT NOTHING .GUY BELOW US WAS CATCHING AND RELEASING LOTS OF FISH .THEY WERE A MIX OF STEELHEAD AND SILVERS .TONI LEFT AROUND NOON AND I BROKE OUT MY COMFORT ROD AND 1ST CAST I GET A NICE BUT PRETTY DARK STEELIE .IT FOUGHT WELL AND I GOT IT IN OK .I WENT AHEAD AND KEPT IT .IN FACT WHEN I GOT MY FISH THE GUY BELOW WAS ON A FISH TOO .THE GUY BELOW RETAINED A NICE STEELIE JUST BEFORE I LEFT .THERE WERE SOME GUYS WHO TRIED TO GET IN BETWEEN US AND CROWD US BUT THEY GOT NOTHING AND LEFT.OVERALL A GOOD DAY .I GOT MINE ON A PURPLE AND WHITE CORKY WITH PURPLE YARN WITH A TROUT SIZE PINK WORM ON THE HOOK.THE GUY BELOW USED JIGS AND SPINNERS AS FAR AS I COULD SEE .THE FISH WEIGHED 10.9 LBS AND WAS A HEN.

well will you look who it is.... fishinrob.... always catchin the fish haha.... nice fish looks like i gotta head down there and catch some fish.... the green still isnt producing anything for me any tips?

Nice fish Fishinrob. How was the water condition? I only remember being extremely muddy. Is that your invention with corky and yarn and worm? I never thought of worms having any hair. LOL. But it works so I might have to give it a try too. Thanks for sharing your equipments.

THANKS MIKEL ,TONI AND KING HUNTER .WATER IS LOWER BUT STILL MUDDY .SOME LOCALS SAY THERES A SLIDE SOMEWHERE BUT I DONT KNOW.KINGHUNTER I USED IT AT 116TH AND SINCE THEN IVE HAD CONFIDENCE IN IT EVEN THOU I NEVER GOT ANYTHING TILL NOW .I USE A PINK CORKY AND PIK WORM TOO WITH NO YARN.VERY NICE FISHING WITH TONI AND BY THE WAY THE SMOKED SALMON YOU GAVE ME WAS AWSOME.ANYWAY GREAT DAY OVER ALL .

The only thing that makes it look like a silver is the dark mouth, but I'm pretty sure that looks like a steelhead

Hey Fishinrob- nice catch!! What depth was your bait? Do you know if the early bite was hot or was the later bite better? I was hoping to try it in the morning..Awesome catch buddy!!

that was me when you guys walked by and it was 12lbs I weight it when i got home i was hooking silver i only had two stilly the one before that broke my line as i was landing it

that was you below toni and i ,should of gotten your name you are the one i double checked with on the steelie right after i caught it ?you were slaying fish .i havent given out the hole so maybe we can continue to get fish there.

Thats Not a steelhead! Nice try though. Thats a hen silver! They don't always turn red like the males.
