Jens and I fished the Green with some friends of his. We arrived about 9am and the water was clear emerald green and visible for about 3-4'. The water flow seems to be average. We basically threw every arsenal from our tackle box, corky and yarn, prawns, sand shrimp, eggs, float jig, spinning lures, spoons, and we got NOTHING. Of course I did lose several rigs and Jens actually thought he had a bite, but I had to correct him - "it was a rock, there are no fish!" We left after about 4hrs too late. There were other anglers there and they also left empty handed. One guy did tell Jens that he did catch one 12# last week. I think he caught the last fish from there. The river is in excellent condition, but no fish. Where did they all go? Maybe they all went to skook. Anyway so Jens and I are still ZERO steelheads, maybe we will end as a tie at this rate.
