Since Spanaway was DEAD, went back home, picked up the son and took both kids out to Horseshoe. Met some friends out there and threw some powerbait and worms at the fish. Lots and Lots of small trout and bass, also caught 4 11"+ rainbows and one 13" catfish. Oh, watch out for the few ducks, had one run up on the bank when my back was turned and grabbed my worm, hook and all!! Had to get the needle nose and an extra set of hands to get it back, no harm to the duck, just pride.
We fished on the point, just in front of the dock. A great place to take the kids, fishing is decent and the area is fairly kid friendly.
