We launched at 7 a.m. this morning over by the mouth of Davis Creek. The water is still pretty low. I would say it's still down about 15 feet. Water temp in the main part of the river was 41 degrees and 44 in the larger sloughs. We fished until 1 without seeing or catching a single fish. We threw rapalas, swimbaits, and herring under a bobber. Fished from the mouth of the Calispel up to the Usk bridge. Nice to get out on the water despite my outboard having technical difficulties, so we had to use the kicker and bow mount all day. Hoping to get back up there in 2-3 weeks.
