Hit Barrier Dam for a few hours on the way home. Fished in between the upper pool and the launch. Primarily corky/yarn in various colors - no bites..... Jig & bobber for a bit - no bites. Saw one fish pulled in from the upper pool, above the island. Talked to a guy who had been there since early in the moring and he had not seen anything caught. The water looked good and was low enough to wade out so I could cast anywhere from the far bank in. The weather was perfect.......70+ degrees with a little wind. Enough to get my face, neck, arms and hands their first burn of the year. Now where did I put the aloe?
