Went to the Cow with my two kids in around 11am. It was not crowded, it was a beautiful day. I actually got sun burn on my arms and face. The kids had a great time also. Well I fished alittle bit at the blue creek launch area (left side). One boy had a fish on using float and jig, but lost it. Use the usual tackle and nothing. Around 2 decided to find a park and found the barrier dam area and fished there with the usual tackle. It was crowded there, alot of people were floating shrimp or eggs at the dam area. Someone already had a nice size springer, talking with others, they also saw bunch of springers caught and steelhead. One guy said he caught a 14# steely last week there. I fished there for about 2hrs and nothing but snags again, alot of other people drifting were also getting alot of snags. I hate losing all those lures and rigs. But overall it was great spending times with my kids.
