My older son and I decided to take the day off after a busy weekend and head to the river to target some Pike but only managed to see one with no hits on our top waters. Switched to bass and caught about 6 all between 2-3.5lbs. Had a tough time battling the wind gusts but still managed to get some in the boat, father and son outings away from work are always great!

Nice fish. What was the water level like? Are the sloughs low right now? I have been watching them on the Pend Orielle PUD website but the chart is not there any more. Are those fish from sloughs or open river. Happy fishing

Nice fish! What was working good on the bass and what time of day were you fishing? I'm heading up there this saturday. Probably going to fish around Davis Creek. Thanks for any info.

We were out from 6:00am till noon, all the sloughs are about 1ft lower than last week and pretty thick with cabbage, we tried Davis creek around the downed trees and only caught a couple of dinks in there, the cabbage is pretty thick and water temp was a warm 72. Caught all Bass in other sloughs south of Davis ramp off of Zoom trick worms/lizards...
