Hit the douglas bar, after driving all over freaking snohomish looking for sand shrimp at 500 am. Im pretty sure that morwe then 2 stores should sell them. wow.. Anyways after the Triangle finally opened, grabbed 4 dozen half rotten sand shrimp, and headed down. Ok 6 am like 20 people, Got stuck down on the lower part of the bar. Threw out my pink cheater pink yarn and sand shrimp. Started clobbering them. I got 2 pinks pretty fast, and lost a good 3 or 4. everyones bells were a ringing at the same time, it was like sprees of fish and then silence, i ended up limiting out got 3 with sea lice on em still, 3 males and 1 female. and the meat was actually almost a red color looking good.. I wont know how they taste until about 8 tonight, but dick knights were clubbing em and shrimp. Even at the end of day a guy rolled down there on low tide with a buzzbomb and knocked a few out witgh a trout rod. sounded like someone was fighting a kenai river king lol. Snohomish looking good, fish jumping all over

Oh yeah Ive used a trout rod many times with 6lb test fishing for pinks its a rush. Even more so when a silver or king hit and take off. Im not real familiar with the area I was wondering were douglas bar was is. I havent had much luck how far up river have they moved. I fished at lowell park and didnt see any fish topping the water yesterday morning. Tite Lines Thanks for the report
