Ran down to my favorite spot just west of the town of Snohomish after work. With traffc I wasn't able to get down there until about 6-630pm and fished until 8pm. Didn't worry about the tides, had the time, I was going to fish no matter what. Turned out to be an incoming one. The 1st 30 minutes I had the whole stretch to myself (bank that is, lots of boats going by). In the next hour about 9 bankies showed up - still lots of room though. Only got the one hit on a pink Marabou Jig. Buck, 4# - 22-23" Had a lot of fight in him, lots of fun!
Only saw one other fish hooked (and lost) while I was there - heard some "fish on's" echoing in from a couple of the boats, but didn't see any landed.

Try tipping your jig with a piece of prawn. Twitch your jig only moving it about 6 inches at a time. I took a newbie out today, taught him the technique and he hooked about 9 fish in 2 hours.

Thanks for the tips duk. Never tried prawn - I am pretty much a baitless fisherman (always either forget to pick it up, or forget to put it away - wife REALLy doesn't like that smell in the car). But I do twitch the jig, and it does catch more fish.
