Launched at Langus for the first time at about 10am, why don't people parked in "vehicles with trailers parking only" areas get towed here?? Idiots.

The launch was nice, easily accomodates multiple boats at once and isn't that affected by tides!

Ran from the launch up river past cable crossing and found our first batch of rolling pinks. Anchored up above them and bang bang fish on, fish off, fish landed, fish tossed back, fish kept, fish jumping everywhere...you know typical pink fishing!

Tried jig heads with squid bodies, pink and white spoons, buzz bombs and caught fish on all, but the best lure of the day was my "super secret jig I got from a witch doctor in the Congo that was accidently pee'd on by my ultra secret dog....no wonder we were the only boat in Washington catching pinks!!!" ROFLMAO!! Sorry, couldn't resist:)

Actually it was just the same $1.99 pink maribou hair jigs anyone can buy at any local store in Snohomish....just find rolling fish, get above them and either anchor or drift back through them casting the jig and uhhhh jigging it:)

Took our 8 pinks and called it a year. I don't particularly care for the things, but my wife wanted to go and how could I say no to that??!!

If you're a bank fisherman on this river, just drive down Lowell east towards Snohomish, look accross the river for the windmill or large grey grain silo, park and go fishing, they tend to stack up here and I have done very well in past seasons fishing from shore on a low tide with a pink jig!! You can also drive around to the other side and fish the rocks near the same silo....good luck!
