I went out with my imaginary friend, "Gringo Pescidor... Mark." i.e. online fishing friend. (Only my son has seen him.. but I have told many about our adventures.

Anyway, today we went up to the Snohomish River. We were about a 1/2 mile below the bridge which goes right through town. We fished from the bank, arrived about 7:15, about an hour after the hight tide mark. It only took about 15 minutes for Gringo to hook up. We fished exclusively Pink Maribou Jigs. No floats.... just cast and jig. I also brought another friend with us. Over the next 3 hours we all caught our limits of pinks. Along with many that came unbuttoned.... and at least speaking for Mark... there were probably 6-8 released.
There were probably 6 guys on the bank near us. A few of them hooked up occaisonally. I think they were throwing buzz bombs. But that Maribou Jig was da Shizzle! Mark was on fire. At one point he had 3 hook ups within 3 casts.

If you are sitting at home and saying to yourself this sounds pretty cool.... but I don't know what to do. Just go down to the river. Anybody can do this stuff.
