Hit up the puyallup river with knox after work today. Got to the river about 430pm and started fishing by 5. Hooked and landed probably 12 pinks. Right before sunset i nailed a 6.5 lb hatchery silver. Left with my limit of pinks and 1 silver. Another great day of fishing on the puyallup. Oh i don't know whats up i tried to re orientate the picture above and it saved the way a picture should look ( up and down ) instead of left and right. Kind of weird. Oh well. Good luck and tight lines.

Thanks Jens and Bentrod. I have a cheap hanging scale and i don't think it was accurate. Judging by the size of the fish i would've guessed closer to 7.5 maybe 8 lbs.

Well, if you didn't post the picture, then it could have been 9 or 10 lbs! lol.

Hey Tommy,

What was the length on your fish? Just curious. How did it taste? I'm going to try to make salmon cakes on my catch. To me silver and king taste about the same.

It was 27 inches, and it was excellent on the grill with garlic, lemon, dill, and montreal steak seasoning.

If you're able to hold him with your middle finger then it is at least 10#s, now if it was your pinky finger then it would be 5#s.

Now i know why jens always says you over estimate the weight of your fish. LOL

Kinghunter is 5'1, so anything he holds in his hands will seem big to him...Kinghunter, what is the size of your needle?
