Back on Stilly as usual, but water and bites were both very slow in the morning. Action picked up in the afternoon, but all pinks, most of which weren't worth keeping. At around 3PM, 1st silver (~8lbs) of the day was caught by a kid, who had shown up just 20 minutes before and squeezed into my left. I was pretty pissed for a second, but then I was glad someone finally landed a silver. Of course, 15 minutes later, guy 20 TSS to my right lands a 10+lb silver though it was fairly dark. I wanted to stay for my turn but had to get home to make dinner.

Left at 4PM w/ 3 pink hens with still a bit of silver on them. Quickly marinated a filet in diluted soy sauce, garlic, onions, lemon pepper, and olive oil and then grilled it, which turned out quick good though nowhere close to the taste of that silver I had caught on my previous trip to the Stilly.

"20 tss" was supposed to be "20 yards." The kid on my left used a flo green corky&yarn, and guy on my right had a Dick Nite 50/50.

With rain forecasted for most of this coming week, there should be a lot more silvers afterwards.
