I Fished the stilly today and the silvers are still not there in any numbers. Saw some jumping but not many although there was one guy who caught a 9 1/2 pound silver on a chartreuse dick nite. His silver was very bright, I sure wish I would have caught a silver like that today, instead I released 24 humpy most of them very ugly. There was a few hens that still looked ok but nothing really worth keeping, I have enough smoked salmon and now I am ready for silvers. This weeks rain should help. Have fun fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good tip on the chartreuse Dick Nite. I was on the Stilly on Sunday and used flo green corky & yarn and caught a bunch of pinks that didn't even fight much - they felt half dead. Shoulda switched to Dick Nite spoons!

Still, the water is quite slow with few fish jumping - unlike 2+ weeks ago. Hopefully, the rains over the next few days will bring in more silvers.

I was on the stilly as well today and that guy with waders got a beautiful silver, It had to be 10 pounds. I caught 2 male humpies.
I totally agree, on the green lure mojo, I had 2 green corkies and once I lost them it slowed down ALOT.

I was the guy with the green bucket that caught a STICK, I was so happy, that stick had 3 dick nites and about 20 other hooks and gear / lures/ weights and tackle on it! I think I did a happy dance right then and there.

Hey, I talk to you a bit, I came down and congratulated you on the large clump of lures you caught and we talked about the barbed hooks, nice to see less hooks being caught with the barb still there. Maybe all the tickets are starting to have an effect. That clump of lures was the most I have seen in one catch, the best stick I bet you have ever caught. That huge treble hook was a sure fish snagging tool, not any other use for that except maybe out halibut fishing. His silver was 9 1/2 pounds, I weighed it for him, sure was nice and bright. The humpies started biting more later in the day I was there till 4:00 and caught the most between 3:00 and 4:00.

lliu, your right the humpies don't fight as much as they did a couple weeks ago, they seem to come right in. I am surprised at the fact they still are biting, today about 3:00 they started biting good and it was fish on almost every cast, prior to that it was the slowest I have seen it since the pinks started. I hope the rain will push out the pinks and bring in lots of silvers. It would be nice to have silvers as thick as the humpies have been.
