I received some inside information late last night which led me here. I can at least say I was upriver from the bridge if that helps any. I thought for sure the river would be totally blown out due to the rain, but I have fished in worse looking water before, the water was pretty much the same color as the Puyallup. I took home 1 gorgeous silver and lost 3. Several other people had some nice silvers on stringers. I had a pretty good day mixing up the occasional Pink. The river wasn't even close to how crowded it was compared to the Cowlitz from saturday, I enjoyed being able to enjoy fighting a fish and not having to horse any in...

It's the FootHill Bridge. I will post my fish caught there. Suprise to see still alot of pinks and some actually were decent color and people were keeping them.

near as i can tell there is only one bridge that crosses the carbon and that would be on sr162....that being said if you were indeed fishing that far up the carbon.............you were fishing in closed waters????????????????????????????????

Dustin07- my inside info person sent me pics of 4 ho's, not the brightest, but all over 10lbs that he caught Wednesday.. He lives on the river- up from the bridge- whatever bridge it is called, I don't know- I am not from that area. I just know how to get to his house and I drive past it when I go to his spot. It's not private.....

Wow emmons7bm, I am tickled. I find your comments to be sad and pathetic. Correct me if I am wrong, but I can't remember reading any of your reports or posts. Here you are coming on my report and bashing a fellow member. I know where I was fishing was not on closed waters like you are suggesting. Go out and do some fishing today emmons7bm!! You might like it, now that is the real deal bro.

Just relax people, we were fishing just past the Foothill Bridge around the new housing area onto the Carbon. There were other anglers there fishing. The bridge you guys are talking about is way up the river, way past the hatchery, as I mentioned it's the FootHill Bridge.
