Had a few hours to spare while wife & kids went to see Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3-D. Popped into several spots between North Green River Park and Isaac Evans Park. Same story: Water was fairly fast and murky with hardly any fish jumping and no sightings of silvers. Hooked 8-9 pinks, mostly foul style probably cuz I was using a size 2/0 hook. Instead of aggressively bringing them in quickly and releasing them, I turned my reel to "off" to give up line while keeping the line tightthe, so the fish can self release in the water, and it worked pretty well. I only needed to land just 1 of the pinks before manually releasing it as well.

After getting bored w/ the pinks, I drove about 10 miles south to the Puyallup River spot near N Levee Rd. The water was even murkier than the Green, and I didn't see any fish jumping. I'm guessing it'll take 2-3 days before the Puyallup clears up assuming no more heavy rain. I hope the silvers will show up then.

I am glad somebody else had the same luck as I with the silvers this weekend, well at least misery loves company. I thought with the rains of last week, the water level rising, the fact that they are going in and out with the tide downstream at the duwamish, that we'd start to see them. Of course not...
