First of all my wife took horrible pics of my catch today so not able to post it. Met with the usual group and more today. I arrived around 6am and on my second cast landed a nice chrome Silver, she was 30" in lenth and 7" wide, I'm guessing her weight to be around 12#s. I did manage to hook 2 more hog kings but they snapped my line again just below the swivel. Jens caught one of the biggest chrome King that was decent enough to keep. It weight at just below 30#s. I'm sure the two that I lost were well over 30#s. Jens' son Trenton didn't do too bad either. He managed to land 1 King that was fouled hooked, released and he had many more hook ups making the veterans look bad but just couldn't hang on due to snappy lines. The Kings are just huge right now, so plan on getting a heavier line, 20#lines should be good. I am changing my 12# lines. Overall it was a great day, the flow was slight fast but the water was very clear. Early morning seems best and really dies down late afternoon. Prepare to bring some bengay for your arms, it's going to hurt.

I'm bringing my Luna saltwater reel next time. I think it's got 18lb test, couple that with my ugly stick and it's a bit to cast, but worth it in a fight. At least then kinghunter will have a chance to net my fish for me....... I never seen any of the fish I hooked into.
