11/5/2009 10:05:00 PMGuys you should probably check http://waterdata.usgs.gov/wa/nwis/uv/?site_no=12061500&PARAmeter_cd=00060,00065 before you head out to any river. When you see it nearing flood stage, generally means you won't catch anything. Flood stage is represented by the red line on the bottom chart.

11/5/2009 10:49:00 PMRiver Will flood tonight between 0000 and 0200. it will be back down to 14 ft on saturday. i am going on Saturday because this flood stage means the fish will hold in the hood canal until it calms down and there will be a lot of fish waiting. it has worked for me before, it will work again

11/7/2009 8:05:00 AMPeople need to learn to cast after the guy below them casts. and not to long line everyone below them. It gets annoying. Ive only fished the skokomish once. but it wasn't hard to figure out. Very good fishery. Wish people had more respect for the follow fisherman(at all rivers).
