I didn't see any new fish come through, but I did catch my limit within an hour. Two tail hooked and released and two in the mouth. After that.. Not one fish was landed by me or trout mag. The fish that were there were at the hatchery where people were casting over the rope to get em. Not a bad morning though. Got there at 7am and was gone by 10am. Just in time to catch a days worth of football :) Used that same fly type method and just let the swivel be my weight. No corky, just yarn. Lost half my gear in the bush. Water was very clear today and boots are starting to show.

Good job BS. You were right about how well the Chum fight in a creek. I want to power down and use the lightest line and tackle possible, but stories of 20lb brutes keeps my 14lb test on my reel.

Yes, they tend to snap line with their activity. I use heavy line in smaller areas, but "power down" when I have fighting room... like in the Green/Puyallup :) I'm going to scope out the Puyallup a little more and I'll let you guys know if I have any luck this week. Postal got my blood pumping with his report of chum in the Puyallup.
