Took the day off work and headed to the Snoqualmie, had heard it was heating up. Got one take down and this hen weighing 8lbs 8oz fishing the big eddy area. Water was coming up and getting discolored. Should be good when the rain stops!

KZOO forgot to describe his landing method for this hen. She fought so well, he had to dive on her and tackle her so she wouldn't escape. He looked like a wild animal getting his prey. It was a great fish and great landing!

Nice fish!!! Were you out on the island or on the beach at the mouth? Did you see many other fish caught? The cable hole and the back eddie should be hot this weekend if the water isnt to muddy.

I caught the fish on the island. We bounced around a lot that day. We started near the hatchery then the boat launch area and kept on working downstream all the way to the tolt. Then we went back to the eddy. Action was still a little slow, saw probably 7 fish the whole stretch, but conditions were not ideal, weekend should be hot.

Nice fish. Ive not been on the snoqualmie fishing for a few years. I was talking to my cousin about heading up there. Sounds like its time. I am waiting for my new rod and I picked up a few choice colors of jigs. So Im hoping its on. Good luck all.
