Started around 7am. Already 3 people there fishing. One said he had a couple on and landed one (chum) but released it. Water visibility was around 2 feet and slow flow. Shower throughout the day. Finally around an hour of fishing one guy had fish on - chum probably around 6-8#s, later about 1/2 hour later he had another one on, 8-9# semi chrome chum. I helped with the netting on both of them. I think I'm getting better at netting them, except for when it comes to Jens fish, but then I haven't heard him catching anything. It was frustrating to see only one person getting fish and I was just about to give up and I'm thinking to myself just a couple of more cast and I'm out of here. And as soon as I cast up river, wham FISH ON. He was a fighter, Probably fought that fish for 5 minutes and tried to muscle him in. It was probably around 8# semi chrome. I thought I figured out where they are holding, but didnt' get anymore and I did see one other hook up but lost it. It was starting to pour so decided to leave, was around 12pm. Met my friend Ed there again, no luck for him either. No steelhead seen yet. There were about 4-5 people fishing on the other side of the river, no action seen from them. It was slow, any idea where the steelheads are holding at?
