1/14/2010 6:50:00 AMDang.. Seattle times just released an article on how the green is closing this saturday and then the upper at the end of the month. It's all good though, the low return of wild steelhead is very scary on this river. I'll sacrifice a month early closure if it helps.

Smooth: Thanks for the update. Its frustrating to have the river closed - I've only caught one steelhead in two seasons (a hatchery fish) - makes me wonder if recreational fishing has anything to do with wild steelhead survival. But I'm on board also - hopefully it will help the return a couple years from now.
