Well, another long day on the banks of the ol' cowlitz and another skunk. Hit the water just below Barrier Dam at about 4 am mainly targeting springers but willing to take what I could get. Started glowballin' and had a hit or two. Waited till daylight and switched it up to pink and peach. Had another tap but basicly just lost more gear. After a while I switched up to a spoon. Lost that about 15 minutes later. Switched up to a bobber and jig setup running a glob of eggs with it. Had a good takedown but ended up just losing my eggs. Called it a day around 2 pm. Did see a few fish landed on the near side. A few landed over on the island too. Just another tough day of puttin' my time in. Done alot of that this winter! Might have to take a break and hit the lakes for a while. Hmmmmmmm....
