hit the duwamish after work today.
112th bridge
saw a lot of salmon splashing around.
THESE FISH ARE TEASES!!!
fished for about an hour and a half and nothing.
there was about 12 people on the banks, two boats and a seal swimming around.
nobody had any luck.
everyone else was throwing out spinners, i was using corkys with yarn + an salmon egg oil.

the banks are muddy and can suck your feet right in.
sigh...my smoker will be lonely for a couple of weeks

Try eggs either drifted, or under a clear float.

losaturn - with all the stuff in that river do you really need a clear float?

Nah, the color of the float doesn't really matter, just what I had on at the time. Honestly you could forget the float all together, as I've caught more fish free drifting.
