Fished low tide thismorning. Had one fish on for a couple minutes, lost it at the shore. Guy next to me fishing the same spinner had one on for about five minutes on six pound test line, he couldn't even turn it, it was pretty neat. I saw two fish taken downstream. Fish low tide with spinners or eggs on a hook. That's what's been working. It's nice to see the fish coming in the river in stronger numbers. They don't hang around long though, so you gotta bput your bait right in front of 'em as they're moving up river. About two or three nice sized schools of fish came through. It's only gonna get better. About time. Feisty fish. The take on a spinner is probably the most violent take you'll get from a fish, they literally go jaws on these things, almost ripped the pole from my hands. Tight lines! I'll be there again tomorrow evening.
