Went back up to the confluence again to try for another couple Ho's. Launched at Highbridge around 715am fishing by 730. Forgot to put the plug in, that was slick, remedied the problem and took off. Trolled plugs from 522 upstream to the confluence and made several passes with no luck. Saw one fish boated around 930am, and one other fish foul hooked and lost around 10am. No fish or bites so we moved downstream and did some drifting with eggs, not a lot of fish around where we were fishing so we decided to give the plugs another go around 12pm. Ran back up and put in around the bridge and after about 10 minutes of trolling the rod goes off and it's FISH ON! Brought in a real nice 10 lb hen, came on nearly the same color plug as we were using Monday, this one had glitter though. Fished a while longer with nothing and called it quits. Not nearly as many fish moving around/being caught as there were on Monday. I think they may have shot straight up the river, gotta wait for the next push of fish. LOTS of boats out there today, probly 30 guys coming/going and generally buzzing about. Couple prop boats including one Smokercraft Osprey with a really nice Honda 4 stroke, be careful up there guys! Had fun, weather was superb.
