10/3/2010 11:44:00 PMThe scenery up there is ridiculously beautiful, I have spent a bit of time up there fishing, and yes.......not catching! Are most of those coho supposed to be heading into the Cascade or are they mostly native?

1/13/2011 8:34:00 PMThey ARE THERE! even if you dont catch them. They arent biting, at all. We have bred a trait into coho that tell them not to bite in the rivers. years and years of fishing on them, and the only ones who survive are the ones whos parents didnt bite a blue fox or dick nite, thus the offspring doesnt either. I fished the skagit many times this year, COHO ARE JUMPING AND ROLLING EVERYWHERE around Hamilton. ONE BITE IN 3 TRIPS??? Must have saw 20 roll in front of us in one hole, nothing. Any i know how to silver fish, i slay them in the bay, and use to slay them in the skagit 10 years ago. They're there, they just WONT BITE! makes you wonder if theres anything we can do...
