After good success yesterday we hit the Snoho hard again today looking for some chrome. Fished up around the confluence trolling and backtrolling plugs of all sorts. First fish came in the morning fog after about 20 miniutes of trolling. We then experienced a 5 hour dead spot until about 2 PM when we hooked 2 coho and a huge watermelon chum backtrolling, all withing 45 minutes. We called it a day once we found no more takers in that area. I rated today a 5 because we had tons of fun and how can you complain when it is 70* and sunny outside in the middle of October. Plus we got a chance to battler our first river chum of the year and what a PIG he was, easily in the 15-20lb size class. Tons of fun on 10 lb line and a medium-light 8'6" ugly stick spinning rod. Only sucky part was having a trailer bearing explode on me on HWY 9 on the way home. Had to use roadside assistance and get a flatbed to take us the rest of the way home. I am hoping I can get to the repair this weekend so I can get back out on the river sooner rather than later!!
