Went back to the the PO river just below the bridge at Priest River and fished the rock piles again.
Launched at the Priest River ramp at 1 pm and fished till 3;30. We got 10 fish total 3 on the drag the dropshot method and 7 on craw colored crankbaits, We didnt get any dinks, the small fish were good size at about a pound and a half or better. The last fish of the day was the biggest one a nice smallie at about 3 pounds not a toad but a nice fish. Not a bad afternoons fishing for almost November!!! The only bad thingthat happened is on that last fish then I swung it in the boat my almost brand new All Star rod broke in half!!! I really thought all star rods were better then that.
I've sung 5 pounders with my cheap spinning rod and they nevewr broke So i will be calling all star tomarrow about it.
