hit the stilly today in silvana river was runing high and fast but pretty clear not dirty for the first 2 hours did not see a fish jump or roll only a couple seals then about a hour before dark they started rolling a lil i got 3 chums that were realesed of course then wham!!!! i had a whopper on of a silver woulds estimate around 15 to 20 lbs fought it for 15 min finally got it close the bank and yes we forgot r net at home my buddy reached down to grab it and he did the biggest mistake after i told him not to he grabbed the line not the fish and it rolled a few times as i was yelling let the line go it snapped my 15lb test like it was nothing man i was pissed but what can u do fished for 20 more min and just wanted to leave a big thank you to goodtimesfishing for letting me know what to use will be heading back there on monday when does the winter run of steelhead start running????

I was out there yesterday as well, and like you hooked into a pretty fat silver after a couple hours of throwing dick nites. Tried a red vibromax and on third cast it hit it like a truck. Nice guy next to me helped me try and land it, but after about 20 min of fighting and almost my entire spool going in and out, it shook the hook. We were thinking it was high teens at least, thing was huge when it jumped. Only good thing other than getting at least a hookup was a bit of video we got

where abouts were ya we started off at the cend of the corn field across from the tavern without any bites and moved up to the bridge about 2 hours before dark and started to finally get some action i heard a good push of silvers r in westport right now so they should be here next week

North of the haller bridge park, on the bank opposite the parking lot. Started near the boat launch and moved up and then crossed over the train trestle and hit the other side before hooking into my fatty

know the feeling left the net in the truck. buddy grabs my bobber/leader lost a 15+ pound steelhead. but after you get over a few bad luck trips usually you get rewarded
