Ventured out to the Sky at sunrise in Sultan. I started using several Pink colored Jigs and tipped them with Prawn, Sand Shrimp and Salmon Roe while fishing at different depths. No strikes at all. Then after about two hours of this, I switched to Plunkin'. Useing Prawn, I quickly started getting bites and hooked up with a nice sized Whitefish, (about 141/2" long). I released it unharmed but I think it was a little upset in getting hooked in the first place. Then I started useing Salmon Roe and had many little taps. Then around 10:30 I has a hard stike. This fish was on and off in a moments notice. Well, I kept at it untill 12:00pm and only had little bites and caught one more Whitefish close to the one I caught earlier but no Steelies and no more hard hits. I saw one fish jump about three times but could not tell what it was though it was silver in color. That always in enjoyable and sure get you warm quick on a semi-cold morning. I thought a 2 rating was true towards this sites instructions but I would easily give this morning a "5" because of the fun I had and I was the only person who fished from this very popular spot. I will say this though, for the lack of shore fishermen it was well made up for by the endless boats launching within the park.
