My father and I Hit the lake about 9a.m. we both had our poles in the water and one fish caught a piece by 9:15. All beautiful rainbows, 12-14 inches. Had a real nice one on but of course he was the one that got away. I believe he was a previous carryover, probably 17-20 inches judging by the size of the hit. A little wind picked up at about 10:30, but ceased. The water turned to glass until we left at about 12:30. We both were using orange power bait-floating. We also used pink and chartreuse power eggs. Both worked well, but I would suggest using power bait. Again I would have to say that this lake is worth coming back to again and again. We both limited out like we always do at this lake, you can just about take it for granted that you will walk out with a full stringer. I will be leaving another report and be using different bait methods tomorrow.
