Haven't posted a report in awhile, figure a bunch of "I got skunked again" reports would get pretty old..

Went to Reiter on Friday and again Sunday.

Friday: Started at sunup on the hatchery side just up from the intake. Fished until 10am saw two carried out from downstream, but none hooked in my sight. Went over to the Highway side and fished it until 1:30.saw three hooked & two landed on the Hatchery side before noon - all three drifting below the big rock. I got nothing but wet. rained all day. Water was cloudy, visability maybe 2' and rising.

Sunday: Fished the highway side from sunup to 2:00pm. MUCH better conditions! Water level down, visability about 4'. Got 1 cookie cutter winter hen at 8am and C&R-ed a summer hen about 10am. My buddy C&R-ed another summer and I netted a nice winter hen for the guy just downstream of me - must've been between 12-15#. Then about noon the bite shut off like a lightswitch. Saw about 15 fish taken - seemed both sides of the river were producing about equal amounts of fish. Sprinkled a little, snowed HARD from noon on, no wind. Was really one of the nicest days fishing I have had in awhile!

Thanks for the report Gringo (sorry I cant remember your name from the time we met up there this summer). Its good to hear you got into to them a bit. I will be going up there Friday if the river holds.

Hey Gringo! It was nice getting to meet you up there on Sunday! I went down to the Cable Hole and pulled out a bright little buck.

Hey Blurock - it was nice to meet you too! I saw you had bugged out for better waters. But not soon enough - that was my favorite rock you were on, somebody else jumped on it before I got the chance! Nice you got a buck, that hen I had was bright, but the meat was on the pale side.
