Launched at Blue Creek at about 7am and fished with the WAlakes member Bawk Bawk on my boat, tons of boats out, lots of bankies too. Water was high but not ridiculous, visibility about 1-2 feet. As the day went on the visibility cleared to about 2-4 feet, down lower on the river vis was much clearer. We fished above and below the launch but our only fish was caught right out in front of the launch. Bawk Bawk picked up a nice little buck about 5-6lbs, chrome bright. Only saw 1 other fish caught all day, about a 4 lb kelt. No luck for the bankies that we saw (doesn't mean they didn't get a few). Fishing was SLOW down there today, we had to work for the 1 we got. Got that fish side drifting eggs. Missed one other take. Tomorrow may be better, or may be the same (hopefully its better!).

Hey Matt, thanks for the report. How much of the river in that area is available to a prop?

There is a good drift from the ouflow down past the boat launch a blue creek that could be done with a prop. You could run further using some discretion, I know you know what you are doing so that shouldn't be an issue. I would comapre the area to up around 522 on the snoho.

Also, for reference, it seems to average about 4 feet deep throughout with some areas down to around 12 or so feet, its fairly flat.

Thanks Matt, now if I can just find the time to get out...anywhere!
