Well, this is a diff. type of report, but some GREAT fishing! Melanie and I voluntered for a hatchery work session to help restock some of those lakes we've been depleting! These are QUALITY fish, averaging about 3lbs. or so,great project done by the state in cooperation with the Chehalis River basin project group. They start out at 4 to the lb., 9 months later we have these beatiful rainbows of three lbs. or more. These are the fish going to lake Aberdeen, Lake Nawatzel, the Elma pond #1, Lake Sylvia and other locations.The largest net I dipped held 17 at 3 lbs. each that's a lot more trout then i've ever had in a net before! This project is ocurring Sunday, April 17,2011 as well at the Satsop Springs rearing facility,on Beerbower Rd.,W. at 8:30A.M.Great way to help pay back some hours for some future fish!
