Hit up the PO River with my Fiancee and my 4yr old Daughter. Had the first pike in the livewell within ten minutes of being on the water. My fiancee had her very first Pike ever, boated about an hour into the outting. In total we caught 11 Pike all in my preferred target range of 3 to 7lbs, my daughter reeled in several fish and I did manage to catch one just over 5lbs. Weather wasn't the greatest that day as we had off and on rain showers and moderate gusts of wind at times. The pike were also striking a bit differently then my past few trips. Strikes were very fast and they also were not holding onto the plug for more then a split second so you had to be very quick to react to them. I did miss quite a few fish because of their strike pattern but that's fishing for ya. Regardless though we all had a great time and it was great to get my Fiance and youngest daughter all on some fish.
I did try and post this report earlier today as well and I have yet to see it show up so if it ends up double posting I apologize in advance.

Nice catch! I miss pike fishing, I'll have to make it over that way one of these days. Just as good eating out of cold water as a walleye.
