Love to see the C&R on native cutts in our fragile smaller west-side streams.
I will knock a hatchery hot dog trout or even a little perch out of a lake as well as anyone but the natives are precious little buggers that have had to really fight to grow to any size at all and the bigger ones (even 7-8 inches) are mega important in spawning and maintaining reliable populations.
Handle them with care everyone :-)

6/9/2011 9:52:00 PMI'm always looking for a great trout stream to relax and enjoy the experience. I don't want you to give away your hole but where is waddel and how can I get back to it? Is there an area to park and hike or is it relatively easy access.

6/19/2011 10:59:00 AMthats a nice looking cutt.I agree on the catch and release witht the native fish.the biggest cutt ive got out of a stream around here is about 4-5 inches.good to here people people are still doing catch and release on any kind of trout!
