Had a fantastic day catching Squah fish with my nephew. First time fishing for this type of fish for him and he had a ball having the fish hit the plastic worm with abandoned energy. Caught over eight of them within two hours. Fun time was had. Biggest was about 2.5 lbs.

It'll always be a squawfish to me, but there's never been an association with what
PC is trying to eliminate. Oh well. Whatever you call them, kill 'em as fast as possible... uh... legally anyway. They are fun to catch. They fight well for a very short time, then give up. Mepps work well on them.

Half of the fish landed ended on the bank for the blue herring to eat or any other fishing eating animal to enjoy. And I agree it will always be a Squawfish for me too.

Baby Salmonoid eating bastards! I have done GREAT for them with a small rainbow trout sinking rapala cranked in real slowly.

Don t kill those things, I hope people understand that, they may eat salmon and stuff. But when they reproduce they bring lots of food for the other fish to eat

Yep great organic fertilizer and bird food. I'd take my daughter out to pracitice on them if they were thick enough in a river close enough to justify the gas. Good river practice for pink run.

@duckhammer just incase you forgot or anyone else, the slough is selective gear rules (single & barbless hook). i bet that rapala would work great but it's still the regs.
