Went back out today to see what I could get, a bit slower then yesterday.
I went 3/7!
One wild-went back unharmed.
One pink-went back unharmer.
One chromer- went in the ice chest harmed!

well, it was chromer, but it was sitting on ice for a while and lost its color.
Anyways got out there at about 9 in the mornin, first cast nothin.2nd cast nothin. 3rd cast, WHAM. fish on, had some of my buddies start yellin at me "Hey man you cant just come here an start catchin fish !" LOL, landed a nice 8-9 pound (estimate) hatchery buck. went in the ice chest. About an hour later caught an estimate 15 pound wild, went back. At about 3, landed the pink and back it went. Hooked fish consistently all day and had a blast.
My set up today, was a 1/0 hook, 7 foot leader, 3/4 oz led, pink corky, and black yarn.
Left at about 6 in the afternoon after a fish broke me off. Overall an awesome day, caught some fish, hung out an messed around with my buddies out there, an beautiful weather !
