Despite the crowds and my own self warnings i decided to hit the Puke again behind Kmart. Not so bad crowd wise early in the morning but it soon picked up and got very busy. Fishing was inconsistent thru the day. It never really got super hot but it wasnt dead either just a slow steady stream of fish. No particular color is hot just any color corkie/yarn and about 3/8oz of weight and your good to go. Landed about 14 fish and kept 4 nice hens for eggs and gave the meat away to friends. Saw 1 king landed and heard alot of shouting about another. Also saw 2 small silvers landed on my side of the river.

The usually combat fishing fun shoulder to shoulder fishing, tangled lines, and some yelling. I pulled a mess of crap out of the river today and disposed of it. Its amazing what some people fish with.
