Went to the puke the first time this year after no luck at Browns Point. I was up in the Sumner area. While walking down the river trail, I saw more guys leaving without any fish than guys with fish.I still had hope even though I got skunkedf earlier in the day. I used old pre tied leaders from last year. They were around 5 feet long. Thats what I get for forgetting the egg loop knot. Tried drift fishing for a couple of hours and never felt a single fish at the end of my line.

This area produced for me during the last pink run, just not today. I also noticed that I didnt see any fish roll. Some people were catching fish here and there, but it wasnt on fire or anything. Saw 2 kings, one on a stringer and a filleted carcass in the river and one silver. People had good behavior at this part of the river today. My lines got tangled a few times and I only saw one person loosing thier cool.

@mike
you can keep kings as long as they're legally caught,
hatchery only, you can keep only 2 quality fish, ho's or nooks
pinks aren't considered a quality fish, but they're still damn good on the smoker.
